Detective Cagliostro has remained in the world of the living after his death. With the help of Vanessa, a local teenager, and the only one who can see him, he has discovered the identity of his assassin and managed to save his wife Anna. Everything, then, seems to be resolved and he is ready to cross the Red Door. Until something unexpected happens: Jonas, his mentor of the spiritual plane, wakes up from his coma. Who is he really? Why is he in a picture standing next to the man responsible for Cagliostro’s death?

Witnessing the birth of his daughter awakens in Cagliostro a series of questions about his own past. Who were his parents? Why did they abandon him? With Vanessa still at his side, though, he will have to worry about much more imminent threats to his family once again when Rambelli accuses Anna and Piras of being lovers and having murdered Cagliostro themselves. When he has a new vision suggesting that his newborn daughter’s life may be in danger, Cagliostro will once again have to fight against time to uncover the truth and save his child.
