Coliandro 7 debuts with over 10% audience share

Inspector Coliandro 7 has debuted with excellent ratings. The TV series, created in 2006 by Carlo Lucarelli and directed by the Manetti Bros, continues to reaffirm itself—season after season—as a cult favorite on Rai 2.

The episode “Yakuza,” the first of the seventh season, drew 2,472,000 viewers, achieving a 10.9% audience share—a significant increase compared to the premiere of the sixth season, which reached an 8% share in 2017.

In the “Yakuza” episode, Kayo, a young Japanese PhD student in art history, becomes an unwitting witness to a ruthless execution. When she crosses paths with Coliandro, our inspector decides to protect her, unaware that he will also have to hide Kenzaburo, Kayo’s brother, a former Yakuza informant, in his home.
