Romero, Voce dei Senza Voce
Accused of Marxism, hailed as an icon of Liberation Theology, and later considered for beatification, Monsignor Óscar Arnulfo Romero remains one of the most controversial figures of the late 20th century—still inspiring both admiration and discomfort. For the first time, all his interviews, photographs, and homilies have been gathered into a single film to recount, through his own voice, the tragedy of poverty and the brutality of a blood-soaked military dictatorship. On March 24, 1980, Romero paid for his denunciations with his life, assassinated by a hitman while celebrating Mass.
