Armando Trovaioli Musica per i Vostri Sogni

Armando Trovajoli (Rome, 2 September 1917 – Rome, 28 February 2013), a genius of Italian musical comedy and a prolific film composer, is the protagonist of a documentary paying tribute to this exceptional jazz musician, trailblazer, and eclectic pianist. Pippo Baudo, Gigi Proietti, Sabrina Ferilli, Valerio Mastandrea, Massimo Ghini, and many other artists remember this master of Italian musical comedy on the 100th anniversary of his birth. Revisiting his great successes—such as Aggiungi un posto a tavola and Roma nun fa la stupida stasera—the documentary retraces the years from the postwar period to the economic boom and into the 21st century, through an immediate, heartfelt music capable of stirring emotions and sparking the imagination.
