Contagio Positivo

Jane and Pacem are two HIV-positive African women. For them, AIDS did not become an inevitable death sentence. One day, they come across a free treatment center in Malawi—and their lives change. No more despair, nor the insidious melancholy known as “Afro-pessimism.”
Today, Jane and Pacem are activists with the DREAM Program, which supports more than 65,000 people living with AIDS in Africa. Because treatment is still too expensive, but prevention costs almost nothing.
